'Are you crazy?': Simone Biles' nightmare in a Paris nightclub

With three gold medals and a silver medal, Simone Biles once again shone brightly at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. However, there were a few moments in Paris that left the acclaimed gymnast with a sour taste in her mouth.

After the Olympic closing ceremony, the American gymnast decided to go celebrate in a Parisian club, she revealed on her TikTok account.

In the nightclub, the Team USA superstar wanted to buy a bottle of champagne, but was left flabbergasted at the price of a bottle of bubbles in a Paris club!

She says: "After the closing ceremony of the Olympics, which I went to, we went out partying. A nightclub tried to charge me $26,000 for a bottle of champagne. Are you crazy or what?"

The champion couldn't believe it and "obviously" refused the bottle, adding: "But why did you try to scam me like that? It's crazy!"

That's not the only thing that bothered Simone Biles in Paris. In fact, she criticized the food served in the Olympic Village, saying on her social networks: "It's not really French cuisine," and claimed that American food was "healthier."

She also spoke about the atmosphere at the Bercy Arena, which hosted the gymnastics events. A "strange and awkward" atmosphere, particularly during the beam final, the Olympic champion revealed on TikTok.

"It's always the most stressful test, but usually we have music or background noise," she said, before explaining, "you could hear phones ringing, cameras going off and I don't know what else... And when some people started clapping, others asked them to be quiet."

At 27, the greatest gymnast of all time may have competed in her final Olympic Games, having battled mental health issues in 2021 before taking a two-year break.
