Mock Draft 7.0 Picks 1-16
The NFL draft is now just a few weeks away, so teams across the league will be finetuning their plans for the big night. Let’s take a look at the first 16 picks in the 2024 draft.
He’s the best QB in the draft, and the Bears traded away Justin Fields, opening the door for Williams to take over in Chicago.
The NFL media is now speculating Daniels has jumped ahead of Drake Maye in the QB rankings, opening the door for the Commanders to take him at two.

“If they don't find their franchise QB, they won't have a chance to compete in the AFC East,” as Ryan Wilson for CBS Sports puts it. There have been reports that Maye could be too big a risk for the Pats, but we can’t see a scenario where he doesn’t get taken here.
The Cards could look to trade back here, as the Vikings are reportedly sniffing around a trade-up for a franchise QB. In this mock, there are no trades, so we are sending the best WR prospect in the draft to Phoenix.
Tony Pauline has reported for SportsKeeda that everything he has heard suggests the Chargers are looking at offensive tackle here, and Alt has the potential to be the best of a loaded class.
The Giants need a QB as badly as anyone in the draft and in this mock McCarthy has fallen to them at six making this an easy selection. This could end up being the Giants’ first-round pick, but they may have to move up to get him.
Another team in desperate need of offensive line help and Fashanu has the tools to become a long-term starter in the NFL, making this an easy pairing.
For a long time, Dallas Turner was seen as the best pass rusher in the draft, but this may have shifted with both Lance Zierlein for NFL media and Ryan Wilson for CBS Sports mocking the Falcons Verse instead. Who are we to argue?
This could be the Bears’ dream scenario, with Nabers slipping to nine. Nabers is an elite prospect, so combining him with Williams and the already-established D.J. Moore makes for a scary offensive lineup.

The signing of Tyron Smith in free agency solidifies their offensive line, meaning the most “win-now” team in the NFL can take an impact player at 10. Odunze is exactly that and should pair nicely with Garrett Wilson.
The Vikings are positioning themselves to trade up for a QB, so they almost certainly won’t be picking at number 11 come draft night. But for now, they will select Turner as they look to build a fearsome pass rush.
Ryan Wilson has Penix going just one pick later in his latest mock draft, suggesting a top-15 selection for the former Washington Husky is not out of the question.
The Raiders need to acquire talent, and Latham has that in abundance. A monster of a right tackle, he should step in and start from day one.
Mims is the fourth offensive tackle taken in the top-15 selections, which feels crazy, but that is the level of talent at the position in this year’s draft.
“Arnold has the SEC pedigree,” per Lance Zierlein. Even in 2024, that matters to teams, making Arnold the number-one CB prospect in the draft. In this mock, so do the Colts, who select him at 15.
The Seahawks could go in several directions here, but we really like Fuaga and see him as a “plug-and-play” right tackle, making him the perfect selection for the Seahawks.
