That is still more than ten million less than Aston Villa's impressive total of £105,930,000.
Up to the top five then, where Liverpool has a payroll total of £134,992,000.
Not surprisingly, Chelsea is one of the clubs with the highest payrolls in the Premier League at £149,344,000, as the Blues have spent astronomical sums in recent years on transfer fees and long contracts.
In third place is Arsenal, who look set to challenge for the Premier League title again this year. The Gunners have a total salary bill of £166,106,000.
They are surpassed by Manchester United at £180,635,000, who are going through a notably unstable periond at the moment, but are still one of the biggest spenders on salaries.
The dominant club in recent Premier League history, Manchester City, also appears at the top of this list. With Kevin De Bruyne, the Citizens have the top earner in the league in their ranks, which partly explains their payroll total of £190,996,000.
