'We argued a lot': Lionel Messi reveals which PSG teammate he disliked the most
This week, Lionel Messi gave an interview to the YouTube channel 'Dispuestos a Todo', which saw the Argentinian looking back on his career and, in particular, his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
Messi, who now plays for MLS franchise Inter Miami, revealed some hard truths during the interview, including who his least favorite player was at PSG.
Like Lionel Messi, this man is a world champion, a French champion, a European champion, and a Spanish champion… Have you guessed it yet?

We are talking about Sergio Ramos here. The former Real Madrid captain was one of the faces of the Clasico, along with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gérard Piqué, and of course, Messi himself.
In the interview, Messi did not hide his anger towards the former Madrilenian: “With Sergio Ramos, we argued a lot. He was the player I was the most angry with.”
“We always faced each other in derbies. The Classicos were intense,” concluded 'La Pulga'.
Unthinkable in 2010, Messi and Ramos were forced to become teammates in Paris, from 2021 to 2023. During those two years, the two men tolerated each other in the locker room, but the jury is out as to whether they ever got friendly.
And the two men could meet again, as Ramos has just formalized his departure from Seville and there is a fair chance a MLS franchise is sniffing around the legendary defender.
If he found himself there, he would be facing an army of former Barcelona stars. At Inter Miami, there is so far Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suárez – who have all joined since Lionel Messi arrived in the US.
In this interview, Lionel Messi also revisited his most painful memory on the pitch, revealing: “I remember that during the 2011 Copa América, in Santa Fe, they insulted me in every way. It was hard for me and for the whole national team,” he admitted, referring to the quarter-final lost at home against Uruguay (1-1, 4-5 tab).
