To be a Premier League team in 2025, somewhere down the line, the club has had a goalscorer who has fired the team through the divisions or a scorer who has led the team to cabinets of trophies. Here are the all-time top scorers for each Premier League team. All stats per Transfermarkt and club affiliated websites.
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is the club's all-time top goalscorer after finding the net 377 times for the North London club. He was a Premier League Golden Boot winner four times.
Billy Walker is Aston Villa's all-time top goalscorer, scoring 244 goals in 531 games for Villa between 1920 and 1934. He was the captain of the club and England at the time.

With 102 goals in 302 games for the ‘Cherries,’ Brett Pitman fired AFC Bournemouth through the divisions during his spell on the South Coast. He won the League 2, 1, and Championship titles.
Jim Towers is a legendary figure at Brentford and was hailed as the club’s greatest player in a Football League 125th anniversary poll. He scored 163 goals in 282 games for the Bees.
Tommy Cook is recognised as Brighton’s record scorer, netting 123 goals in 209 appearances between 1922 and 1929. He made one appearance for England and also played as a professional cricketer.
Chelsea and England legend Frank Lampard is the club’s all-time leading scorer, scoring 211 goals in 648 games. The three-time Premier League winner is the highest-scoring midfielder in league history (177).
Peter Simpson is Crystal Palace's all-time leading scorer. He was their leading scorer for consecutive seasons from 1929 until 1934, scoring 165 goals in 195 appearances.
Dixie Dean is Everton’s all-time top scorer, netting 310 goals in 362 games. He helped Everton win three First Division titles and one FA Cup.
Welshman Gordon Davies scored 178 goals in 454 games for Fulham across two spells at Craven Cottage. He scored 22 more goals than Johnny Hayes, who made 658 appearances.
Former England international Ray Crawford is Ipswich Town’s record scorer, with 203 goals between 1958 and 1969. He led Ipswich to the first Division title in 1961 and was the league’s top scorer.
In 419 appearances, Arthur Chandler scored 273 goals to become Leicester’s all-time leading scorer. He led the ‘Foxes’ to the Second Division title in 1925.

Former Welsh international and Liverpool legend Ian Rush is the club's top scorer, having netted 339 goals in 653 games. Rush was Liverpool's main offensive threat during the club's most successful spell in the 1980s.
Manchester City legend and Premier League icon Sergio Agüero is the 'Citizens' record scorer, netting 260 goals in 389 games. Agüero led the line for City in their first spell of dominance in England.
Football icon Wayne Rooney is Manchester United’s record scorer, netting 253 goals in 559 games. He won five Premier League trophies and the Champions League in 2008.
There is no one other than Alan Shearer, who is Newcastle United’s leading scorer. The legendary striker netted 206 goals in 405 games. Shearer is the Premier League leading scorer with 260 goals.
Welsh footballer Grenville Morris is Nottingham Forest’s all-time leading scorer, scoring 217 goals for the club in the latter part of the 19th century and early in the 20th.
Matt Le Tissier is a true club legend at St Mary’s and stayed loyal to the club even when he could have moved to have more success at a bigger club. In 506 games, he scored 191 goals.
Although he never led Tottenham to glory, Harry Kane’s goal-scoring will always be fondly remembered by Spurs fans. He scored 280 goals and won three Premier League Golden Boots.
