Major personal, billionaire drama for Emma Raducanu ahead of Wimbledon

Emma Raducanu, currently the sixth-ranked British woman, has separated from her boyfriend Carlo Agostinelli after a year of dating, according to The Sun.

Per The Sun, “It seems their relationship has run its course,” with the couple unfollowing each other on social media.

Raducanu not only broke up with Agostinelli, she also went as far as blocking him on Instagram!

According to The Sun, a source told them, “Emma has 2.4 million followers on Instagram but Carlo is no longer one of them.”

The pair has been seen on numerous exotic vacations, including trips to exclusive resorts in Greece and Mexico.

Agostinelli is the son of Robert Agostinelli, worth over $1 billion (£790 million/€930 million), per Forbes.  Agostinelli’s wealth came via the private equity firm Rhone Group.

Raducanu has previously told the media she was banned from having boyfriends during her childhood as it, “interfered with training.”

Since Raducanu broke onto the scene with a shocking US Open win in 2021, the Briton has struggled to refind her electric form that carried her to the title. Having missed the 2024 French Open to focus on injury recovery and training, she is hoping to return to the elite of women’s tennis soon.

Raducanu told Grazia magazine, “I’m playing well and I’m training really hard. I’m doing a lot of good things and I know it’s going to happen. If not this Wimbledon, next Wimbledon.”

Following an intensive training period, and with her rocky relationship over, hopefully, Raducanu can get back on track with a good performance at this year’s Wimbledon tournament, which will launch her onto bigger and better things!
