Max Verstappen (2021, 2022, 2023)

In the last three seasons, Max Verstappen has won the Belgium Grand Prix and the Formula One world championship, beating Sergio Perez in 2023 and 2022 and scraping past George Russell in 2021. If he wins this time, is the championship secure?

Lewis Hamilton (2010, 2015, 2017, 2020)

Seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton has enjoyed great success in Belgium, winning on the circuit on four occasions. His performance in 2020 was his standout, winning the race after leading every lap from pole position and beating Valtteri Bottas in second.

Charles LeClerc (2019)

According to The Guardian, Charles LeClerc's win in Belgium holds a special place in his heart, as it was his first win in Formula One. The day before, his friend Anthoine Hubert died on the track, and he was quick to dedicate his maiden victory to his friend.

Sebastian Vettel (2011, 2013, 2018)

Former champion Sebastian Vettel has enjoyed wins in Belgium at Red Bull and Ferrari. Still, his last win in 2018 was nearly flawless, holding off Lewis Hamilton from the first lap to beat the Brit by eight seconds and close the gap in the standings to 17 points.

Nico Rosberg (2016)

Nico Rosberg claimed a much-needed victory In Belgium in 2016, winning chaotically after a red flag and safety car nearly snatched away his win. Rosberg cut Hamilton's lead at the top of F1 to nine points, and he eventually won his only Formula One world title.

Daniel Ricciardo (2014)

Daniel Ricciardo's best spell in Formula One came in the Red Bull, and one of his only race wins came in 2014 in Belgium. His win was helped by Rosberg and Hamilton, who crashed early in the race and had to work back through the field. It was his third win of the season.

Jenson Button (2012)

The 2009 Formula One world champion Jenson Button went from pole to winner at the 2012 Belgium Grand Prix after some luck at the start of the race. Button was first in turn one, but chaos followed behind, with Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, and Sergio Perez all retiring after Roman Grosjean caused an incident.

Kimi Raikkonen (2004, 2005, 2007, 2009)

Kimi Raikkonen has won four Belgium Grands Prix, and his wins in 2004 and 2009 were two of the best races he's ever won. In 2004, he won after starting in tenth, overtaking Alonso and Michael Schumacher to win. 2009, he came from sixth place to win his fourth and final Belgium GP.

Felipe Massa (2008)

ESPN reports Felipe Massa won the 2008 Belgium Grand Prix in extraordinary circumstances after Lewis Hamilton crossed the line first by 14 seconds. However, after the race, Hamilton was penalized by 25 seconds for cutting a corner after a late duel with Raikkonen. Massa came second and was given the title.

Michael Schumacher (2001, 2002)

F1 legend Michael Schumacher won the Belgium Grand Prix six times in his career, with the last two coming in 2001 and 2002. In 2001, he broke Alain Prost's F1 record by recording the 52nd win of his career, and in 2002, he scraped past his Ferrari teammate Rubens Barrichello in a dominant victory for the 'Prancing Horse.'
