Valverde on Mbappe's talent

"We all know the class of player [Mbappe] is, he's one of the best in the world. Having him here today is a huge satisfaction, it's a joy to share a pitch with him," shared Valverde with France Football.

Once rivals

"I've had to suffer with PSG, and playing against France with my country [Uruguay]. He stands out in every game, and in every training session. He's a top player. Thank God he's here with us," shared the Uruguayan international during the interview.

Concerns with cohesion

The French forward was a top transfer target for Real Madrid for many years. A long-awaited arrival of another 'galactico', however, many fans began to wonder how Mbappe would fit into the current squad filled with big names like Bellingham, Vini, and Rodrygo.

Strong character

Valverde praised Mbappe's character, underlining his remarkable ability to remain calm in demanding situations. "As a person [Mbappe] is incredible," shared the Real Madrid midfielder during the interview.

Solid Spanish skills

The Uruguayan also humorously mentioned that Mbappe's Spanish is "better than mine," highlighting how well he's integrated into the team.

Big fixtures coming up

Mbappe will have to shine bright in the important fixtures against Celta Vigo and FC Barcelona, alongside the demanding Champions League schedule.

The first 'Clasico'

The first 'Clasico' is just around the corner, a big test for Ancelotti's men, who look to maintain momentum in La Liga and cut distances with their eternal rivals, FC Barcelona. We can expect to see some late game drama at the upcoming clash between the two Spanish giants (October 26th).
