With the NFL season in full swing, let's take a look at how much each team has spent so far of their allocated $255.4 million salary cap in 2024. All figures are sourced from the Over The Cap database.

32. Denver Broncos

Active cash spending: $175,867,007

The Denver Broncos have spent the least of all teams this year, but that's more out of necessity, as they currently have over $75 million tied up in dead cap space thanks to Russell Wilson's outstanding $56 million contract.

31. New England Patriots

Active cash spending: $183,964,898

New England has been reserved with their spending in 2024 and as a result still has $37,614,138 in cap space.

30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay continues to navigate the post-Tom Brady era with more measured spending.

29. Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings have kept their books in check in 2024, despite a pretty hefty amount of cap tied up in dead money.

With dead money tied up in contracts to Haason Reddick and Derek Barnett, Philadelphia hasn't had all that much to play with.

While being highly competitive, Detroit has also been one of the most balanced with their spending in 2024.
