Are Kansas City's Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes the greatest duo on and off the field?
According to the Today website, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are taking their Hall of Fame duo off the field and into the restaurant business, opening 1587 Prime in partnership with Noble 33 Restaurant.
The name, inspired by their jersey numbers, is expected to be 10,000 square feet and cover two floors of the Loews Hotel in Kansas City.
The restaurant will be a new modern steakhouse, featuring a variety of meat displays along with an extensive wine collection and diverse menu. It is expected to open in 2025.

The Today website stated that Patrick Mahomes said: "Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City."
The duo is venturing into new territory together, but if it's anything like their success on the football field, restaurants around the world need to watch out for the competition.
The Kansas City Chiefs won back-to-back Super Bowls and their third in four years after defeating the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime on Sunday 11 February 2024.
Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw a walk-off touchdown to Mecole Hardman with three seconds left to shatter the hearts of the 49ers.
With that game-winning play, Mahomes secured his third Super Bowl MVP award in just his seventh year in the NFL, as reported by Bleacher Report.

Before setting up the game-winning touchdown, Mahomes threw a pass to his most trusted partner, Travis Kelce, converting a second and seven and then winning the game.
Despite the edginess of the game, Mahomes found Kelce for nine receptions, with Kelce leading the Chiefs in receiving yards (93), according to USA Today.
The formidable duo has become the hottest one-two punch in the NFL in the last six years and has been the catalyst to the Chiefs' new dynasty.
As reported by Essentially Sports, in the 94 games they have played together, Kelce has scored 53 touchdowns with Mahomes, becoming the third most successful QB-tight end partnership in NFL history.
The Chiefs duo sit behind the tandems of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski (90) and Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates.
However, the playoffs are where it matters in the NFL, and in that category, the Chiefs duo lead NFL history, having 16 touchdowns to Brady and Gronkowski's 15 and Joe Montana and Jerry Rice's 12, as reported by Essentially Sports.
Individually, the pair is breaking and setting records with ease, with Kelce gunning against Jerry Rice for receptions and yards gained.
According to the Cincinnati website, Kelce's partnership with Mahomes has made him one of the greatest pass catchers in NFL history, making 165 catches for 1,903 yards and 19 touchdowns in the playoffs.
His postseason yardage and touchdown receptions both fall second to Jerry Rice, but his 165 catches in the playoffs is a postseason NFL record.
With three Super Bowls, three Super Bowl MVPs, and two regular season MVPs, Patrick Mahomes is quickly establishing as the GOAT of the NFL.
As reported by Stat Muse, Mahomes' playoff stats before turning 30 are far superior to Brady's before he turned 30, with Mahomes leading in yards (5,135 to 3,217), touchdowns (41 to 20), and winning more Super Bowl MVPs (three to two).
Mahomes is still only 28 years old, and he joins Brady and Joe Montana as the only players with three Super Bowl wins and two MVP awards.
In six years as a starter, Mahomes has more playoff wins than Peyton Manning, Terry Bradshaw, and Aaron Rodgers, who all played more than 14 seasons. With Mahomes and Kelce, can the Chiefs three-peat?
