With 34 stage wins in the Tour, Mark Cavendish is the joint holder of the record with Eddy Merckx. The Brit has won the green jersey twice: in 2021 and 2011.

Sam Bennett

Before Cavendish in 2021, Irishman Sam Bennett captured the green jersey on the famous Champs-Élysées.

Peter Sagan
