High-school teenager

Standing 5'7 ft (1.73 m) and weighing 135 lbs (61kg), Russell looked like your average high-school teenager, but he has separated himself with a great skill set that resembles that of some elite golfers. Born in Jacksonville Beach (Florida), November 1st, 2009.

Young golfer

The young golfer has proven adept against the pros, after becoming the youngest player to cut the Korn Ferry Tour. Russell finished top 20 to become the youngest to finish in the first 25 of the PGA Tour-sanctioned event.

A real challenge

Young Russell is one of the four sponsors exemption for the Rocket Mortage Classic. The Florida golfer will face off against some of the best golfers on the planet.

A dream come true

"Ever since I first started playing golf, my dream has been to compete on the PGA Tour and test my game against the best players, and I'm looking forward to making the most of the experience later this month," shared Russell with local media.

"Korn Ferry was pretty cool"

"Korn Ferry was pretty cool, so I can only imagine what a PGA Tour event is like," said Russell before his debut. Will we witness a historic upset from a 15-year-old?!

No. 1 ranked junior golfer

Russell's debut is more anticipated given his nature as the No. 1 ranked junior golfer in the world. Some of the pros will have to bring their A-game.
