Mock Draft 12.0 picks 17-32: Decision time

17: Jacksonville Jaguars - Quinyon Mitchell
18: Cincinnati Bengals - Amarius Mims
19: Los Angeles Rams - Byron Murphy II
20: Pittsburgh Steelers - Taliese Fuaga
21: Miami Dolphins - Laiatu Latu
22: Seattle Seahawks - Graham Barton
23: Arizona Cardinals - Nate Wiggins
24: Dallas Cowboys - Tyler Guyton
25: Green Bay Packers - Cooper DeJean
26: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Chop Robinson
27: San Francisco 49ers - Kingsley Suamataia
28: Buffalo Bills - Xavier Worthy
29: Detroit Lions - Kool-Aid McKinstry
30: Baltimore Ravens - Jackson Powers-Johnson
31: New York Giants - Bo Nix
32: Kansas City Chiefs - Brian Thomas Jr.
17: Jacksonville Jaguars - Quinyon Mitchell

The Jags have a few directions they could go in at 17, but with Mitchell falling into their laps, they should be running in their draft card.

18: Cincinnati Bengals - Amarius Mims

As Dan Parr puts it for NFL Network, drafting Mims is the Bengals “preparing for the future.” He’s huge and athletic, but his lack of playing experience in college suggests there is some work to be done.

19: Los Angeles Rams - Byron Murphy II

The Rams need to replace Aaron Donald’s production, even if replacing him is impossible. Murphy is no Donald, but he is a good, disruptive prospect on the defensive interior.

20: Pittsburgh Steelers - Taliese Fuaga

Guard or right tackle, Fuaga provides versatility for the Steelers. Dan Parr describes him as a “road-grader” which should fit into Pittsburgh nicely.

21: Miami Dolphins - Laiatu Latu

Latu is the best available pass-rusher left on the board. The Dolphins could be without their two best EDGE defenders until well into the season, making this an obvious need.

22: Seattle Seahawks - Graham Barton

Having traded down with the Eagles, the Seahawks swap their third-round pick for the Eagles 2 number 53 selection and the 22nd pick. They play it safe by selecting the most polished offensive lineman on the board.

23: Arizona Cardinals - Nate Wiggins

The Cardinals need talent almost everywhere and Wiggins has the potential to become a “pest on the outside” as Dan Parr puts it.

24: Dallas Cowboys - Tyler Guyton

The Cowboys could be in the trade-up market if the boards falls their way, as they are desperate for tackle help. Guyton may immediately help, but in the long run, he could be the guy.

25: Green Bay Packers - Cooper DeJean

As Jonathan Jones writes for CBS Sports, DeJean “can play in a number of different spots,” which is exactly the sort of versatility the Packers could be looking for.

26: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Chop Robinson

NFL Network, CBS Sports, and Sports Illustrated all have Robinson mocked to the Bucs, so there must be something here. We don’t love him as a prospect and think other players could make more sense.

27: San Francisco 49ers - Kingsley Suamataia

The Niners trade up with their NFC West rivals the Cardinals to select Suamataia, who we like as a tackle prospect who can play inside at guard. This could be any number of offensive line prospects, but the trade-up makes sense.

28: Buffalo Bills - Xavier Worthy

The Bills could go with Brian Thomas Jr. at 28, but we think Xavier Worthy has been pigeonholed as just a deep threat, while his stats suggest he could have more versatility.

29: Detroit Lions - Kool-Aid McKinstry

If Latu or Robinson are still on the board in the mid-20s, watch out for a trade-up by Detroit as they look to bolster their pass rush. Instead, they stay put and select McKinstry, who should help their defense on the back end.

30: Baltimore Ravens - Jackson Powers-Johnson

Powers-Johnson projects as a center, but certainly has the size to play guard if required, Jonathan Jones recently wrote, “Baltimore has a lot of holes to fill along its offensive line,” and JPJ could do just that.

31: New York Giants - Bo Nix

The Cardinals trade back once again, allowing the Giants to move up and select a quarterback in the first round, giving them five years of team control.

32: Kansas City Chiefs - Brian Thomas Jr.

If Thomas falls to 32 we would be a little surprised, but the Chiefs would be stupid not to select him in this scenario.
