Mock Draft 14.0 picks 17-32: The end is nigh

17: Jacksonville Jaguars - Quinyon Mitchell
18: Cincinnati Bengals - Laiatu Latu
19: Los Angeles Rams - Byron Murphy II
20: Pittsburgh Steelers - Graham Barton
21: Miami Dolphins - Amarius Mims
22: Philadelphia Eagles - Cooper DeJean
23: New York Giants - Xavier Worthy
24: Dallas Cowboys - Tyler Guyton
25: Green Bay Packers - Nate Wiggins
26: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Jackson Powers-Johnson
27: Arizona Cardinals - Chop Robinson
28: Buffalo Bills - Brian Thomas Jr.
29: Detroit Lions - Ladd McConkey
30: Baltimore Ravens - Adonai Mitchell
31: San Francisco 49ers - Kingsley Suamataia
32: Denver Broncos - Bo Nix
17: Jacksonville Jaguars - Quinyon Mitchell

Recently, we have been sending a wide receiver to the Jags, but if Mitchell is still on the board at 17, they should jump at the chance to draft him.

18: Cincinnati Bengals - Laiatu Latu

Latu’s injury history is a concern, having been advised to “medically retire” in 2020 following a neck injury, per ESPN, but his profile is excellent. His sack numbers in college suggest he could hit the ground running and give the Bengals a real shot of competing in the AFC.

19: Los Angeles Rams - Byron Murphy II

Murphy is no Aaron Donald, but he is a disruptive interior presence. The Rams are suddenly in desperate need of exactly that, so could pull the trigger if the former Longhorn is available.

20: Pittsburgh Steelers - Graham Barton

Barton, who is expected to play guard or center in the NFL per Dukewire, is a solid prospect. His frame suggests he’s ready to step onto an NFL field and physically dominate from the first snap, something the Steelers will be looking for as they try to protect Russell Wilson.

21: Miami Dolphins - Amarius Mims

NFL Network, CBS Sports, and ESPN all have the Dolphins going offensive line here, and it makes sense why. Their line is either aging or set to leave after 2024, giving Mims a chance to either start right away or spend some time learning NFL football.

22: Philadelphia Eagles - Cooper DeJean

The Eagles’ secondary is either aging or unproven, there are lots of bodies without a clear plan on who’s playing where currently. DeJean could play inside, outside, or even safety, if required. He’s exactly the player the Eagles need, so they’ll probably draft a tackle.

23: New York Giants - Xavier Worthy

The Giants don’t have anyone of note at wide receiver, so why not take a swing on the fastest player to ever run at the combine?

24: Dallas Cowboys - Tyler Guyton

Eric Edholm for NFL Network suggests the Cowboys are, “the type of team that trusts its scouting department to find moldable talents,” they don’t come much more moldable than Guyton, who has the tools to be dominant with the right coaching.

25: Green Bay Packers - Nate Wiggins

Ryan Wilson for CBS Sports describes Wiggins as, “the best cover corner in this class,” which we aren’t completely sold on, but we do like him as a prospect. His 173 lbs frame is a concern, however.

26: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Jackson Powers-Johnson

JPJ is going to be a good player in the NFL, his size, athleticism, and movement suggest he will succeed at either guard or center, adding some talent to the Bucs' offensive front.

27: Arizona Cardinals - Chop Robinson

The Cardinals own this pick due to last year’s trade with the Texans, and they use it to add some freakish athleticism to their defensive line. Robinson’s stats won’t blow you away with just four sacks last season per ESPN, but the potential is huge.

28: Buffalo Bills - Brian Thomas Jr.

The board falls kindly for the Bills in this mock, with the 6’3”, 209 lbs Thomas falling into their laps at 28. His 4.33 40-yard dash is elite for his size, allowing him to open up the field for Josh Allen et al.

29: Detroit Lions - Ladd McConkey

This would be fun, wouldn’t it? McConkey ran a blazing 4.39 40 at the NFL Combine, per ESPN, offering the Lions another deep threat who can add YAC when it's offered as well.

30: Baltimore Ravens - Adonai Mitchell

Mitchell would pair nicely with last year’s first-round selection Zay Flowers, giving Lamar Jackson multiple threats on the outside for the first time in the NFL.

31: San Francisco 49ers - Kingsley Suamataia

Several second-tier offensive linemen could go here, but we like Suamataia more than the others. The Niners desperately need help along their offensive front so can’t afford to be too risk-averse.

32: Denver Broncos - Bo Nix

The Broncos come out of the first round with a QB, and one we really like. Nix is aggressive in the pocket, willing to take shots downfield, but he's happy to tuck and run if needed. His legs may be less useful in the NFL, but the threat of them should keep defenses honest.
