New rumoured West Ham boss is expecting HUGE financial backing this summer!
BBC Sport reports West Ham United are set to appoint former Real Madrid and Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui as their new coach after David Moyes stepped aside at the end of the season.
Now the Premier League season is over, Lopetegui will sign a contract that will allow him to take over from the start of preseason, including a two-week trip to the United States.
The Spanish manager has coached some of the biggest clubs in Europe, such as Porto, Real Madrid, and Sevilla. His only major trophy is the UEFA Europa League with Sevilla in 2020.

The last club he managed was Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League, working to guide them from relegation trouble to 13th in the league. However, he left at the start of the season due to the lack of financial backing the board gave him.
According to the Hammers News website, West Ham fans won't have to worry about Lopetegui's disgruntlement over transfer spending at the London club, with the 'Hammers' expected to make a record £365 million (€426 million, $463 million) in profit.
West Ham board confidant Sean Whetstone said: "West Ham are likely to record turnover of £365m thanks to a good European run, a ninth-place finish in the Premier League, and the sale of Declan Rice in this financial year."
West Ham is likely to earn £148m (€172m, $187m) from Premier League TV money this season with an Equal share of £91.7m (€107m, $115.5m), TV facility fees: £19.2m (€22m, $24m), and merit payment: £37.4m (€43m, $47m) with the Hammers now confirmed finishing ninth. Add an estimated £23.5m (€26m, $30m) earned from the Europa League prize money in a cup run to the quarterfinals."
The new West Ham head coach will inherit a bare squad of 16 players, meaning West Ham will have to sign at least seven first-team players to cope with the demands of Premier League football.
The West Ham board backed David Moyes with over £500 million (€590m, $634m) worth of spending in four and half years, winning the UEFA Conference League and multiple European place finishes.
'Hammers' supporters expect even more ambitious signings with record profits and a new world-class manager in Julen Lopetegui. Can he take West Ham to the next level?
