'Shots fired': Scandalous video puts former Real Madrid star Keylor Navas in a pickle

Keylor Navas is caught in the middle of a sticky situation following the lawsuit of a former employee. The PSG goalkeeper will need to find a new club after June 30th, but this recent scandal may narrow his options.

According to BFMTV, a private employee filed a complaint with the Versailles Prosecutor's Officer, accusing Keylor Navas of work exploitation.

The employee underlined in his complaint that he was working for the former Costa Rican goalkeeper for 20 months, during which he never had a contract.

Furthermore, according to BFMTV, Keylor Navas forced his employee to carry a weapon on him at all times, which he claimed, caused him constant insecurity.

BFMTV further reports on how the former goalkeeper would have his employee working over 60 hours a week.

As to be expected, the PSG goalkeeper arranged a series of monthly cash payments, to avoid any taxes. The former employee claimed to receive €3,200 (£2,720/$3,480) every month.

Payments aside, the former employee has also complained about the horrid living conditions he was placed under during his time of employment. Keylor Navas housed him in a damp windowless basement for two years.

To make matters worse, the former employee approached Navas back in the day asking to regularize his employment situation, a conversation which he recorded...

"Here we do not work with French laws, I pay you in cash and we work according to my rules," the goalkeeper says in the video.

Keylor Navas also stands accused of shooting off a firearm in his garden. "Sometimes he would shoot like that on his property, just to please himself or show it to his friends," shared his former employee.
