LeBron James hits out at French Olympic basketball team: 'I'm not impressed'
LeBron James is not afraid of the Blues… and he has made it known. After the French team was downed by Germany (85-71), the 'King' was not kind to Wemby & Co.
In an interview with the Washington Post, the NBA superstar explained that he "was not impressed" by what he saw from France on the court.
"I didn't think they were ready for the physicality of Germany. Other than that, they were playing some good ball."

It must be said that this French team is on the verge of implosion. After a complicated inaugural victory against Brazil (78-66) and a miracle win against Japan (94-90), the defeat against Germany may just be the best barometer for where the Blues find themselves at this stage of the competition.
After the match against Germany, French shooting guard Evan Fournier criticized the team's tactics: "Nowadays, the best defense remains attack. It's no longer the game from the 90s or 2000s where you could really defend half court", France Tv reported.
Coach Vincent Collet, feeling a little slighted by the remarks it seems, hit back at the French NBA star: "It is a regrettable and unacceptable statement for which he bears responsibility. He will be able to explain it. I have no other comment to make than that."
According to LeBron James, Germany and Canada are the two teams the US needed to focus on for the rest of the competition.
The Canadians face France on August 6, in a match that promises to be a serious test for the Blues.
With three victories against Greece, Australia and Spain, Jamal Murray's teammates are in great shape and look formidable.
Team USA, for its part, will face Brazil on August 6, at 9.30 pm CET, (8.30 pm GMT, 3.30 pm EDT, 1.30 pm PDT). A team that is well within their reach.
