Rovers striker Alan Shearer was the top scorer with 34 goals, but it nearly wasn't enough on the final day. Blackburn visited Anfield with a two-point cushion on Manchester United, but they lost to Liverpool 2-1. Luckily, United drew 1-1 against West Ham, securing the title.
Leicester City's title victory in 2016 is regarded as a sporting miracle. The season before they won the league, Leicester had to fight out of a relegation battle, finishing 14th. Heading into the 2015/16 season, Leicester City had 260/1 to win the league, and they did.
Under the stewardship of veteran leader Claudio Ranieri and the strong core of Kasper Schmeichel, Robert Huth, Wes Morgan, N'Golo Kante, and Jamie Vardy, Leicester had a settled and compelling starting line-up that was brilliant defensively and dangerous on the counterattack. They won the league by ten points.
Liverpool had won 18 First Division titles before the start of the Premier League era, but Manchester United fans mocked them because they could never lift the Premier League title. In 2020, that all changed when Jürgen Klopp finally delivered their elusive first.
The season before they won, Liverpool had done everything and more to get their hands on the title, finishing second with 97 points and one loss. The following year, they returned for vengeance, beating City to the title by 18 points and reaching 99. Mo Salah scored 19 goals, and Trent Alexander Arnold registered 13 assists.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal team is yet to come close to the Arsenal greats of the late 90s/early 00s under Arsene Wenger. Wenger's men won the title in 1998, 2002, and 2004, with the last being the only time a team has won the Premier League and gone unbeaten (26 wins, 12 draws).
There were numerous heroes during that golden era of football in North London, but none stick out more than Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, and Patrick Vieira. Henry was the league's top scorer in the final two title wins, while Bergkamp and Vieira were the creative enforcers behind the striker in all three victories.

Chelsea is the third most successful club in the Premier League, thanks to Jose Mourinho and Roman Abramovich's billionaire takeover in 2003. Mourinho won the league title in 2005, 2006, and 2015, while Carlo Ancelotti won in 2010 and Antonio Conte in 2017.
Petr Cech, John Terry, Frank Lampard, and Didier Drogba were prevalent in most of these title wins, forming the perfect foundation for elite success. In 2005, they conceded only 15 goals and recorded 95 points.
Since Pep Guardiola's arrival in 2016, Manchester City has experienced the most dominant spell of any Premier League team. It became the first team to win the title four years in a row from the 2020-21 season until the 2023-24 campaign.
Their first Premier League title win in 2012 was the closest the race has ever been. City won the league on goal difference and required two stoppage-time goals against QPR on the final day to beat Manchester United to the title. With Guardiola still at the helm, City fans will be sure they will win the title again soon.
The most successful team of the Premier League era and the most successful English team is none other than Manchester United. Under Sir Alex Ferguson, they controlled the domestic landscape for nearly 20 years, winning 13 Premier League titles.
Under Ferguson, United won five Premier Leagues in the 1990s, six in the 2000s, and two in the 2010s before Ferguson finished his career in 2013. Since Ferguson's retirement, United hasn't come close to winning the league, making Manchester City firm favourites to overtake their rivals in the next ten years.
