US colleges that have produced both a President and a Super Bowl-winning quarterback
Picking a college in America is based on two things. One is how successful their sports program is, and the other is who the alumni are from the university.
Many US colleges have produced students who have gone on to achieve great things, but these five colleges on the list may have nailed down the best two. One is becoming US president, and the other is being a Super Bowl-winning quarterback.
As reported by the White House website, there have been 45 US Presidents, with Joe Biden being President number 46. According to the Press Herald, there have been 34 winning quarterbacks in the Super Bowl.

The US has over 14,000 colleges, and only a small percentage of them can boast they have graduated at least one of them. Here are the five schools to graduate both!
As reported by CBS Sports, the most recent school to join the historic list was the University of Delaware, with President Joe Biden sworn into office in January 2021.
To complete the set in Delaware was Super Bowl-winning quarterback Joe Flacco, who led Delaware to the NCAA FCS Division 1 National Championship game in 2007 and led the Baltimore Ravens to the Vince Lombardi Trophy in 2012.
No, not the university down in Florida. Miami University in Ohio was around when Florida belonged to Spain, and it has produced two Ben's that have won a Super Bowl and become US President.
The first is Super Bowl-winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who won two Super Bowls in 2006 and 2009 with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the second Ben is Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd President of the US, who served from 1893-1901, according to How They Play.

Stanford University is one of the most historic universities in America and produced two Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks. John Elway won two rings in 1997 and 1998 with the Denver Broncos, while Jim Plunkett won two with the LA Rams and Oakland Raiders.
As far as presidents go, Herbert Hoover was one of the most heavily criticized presidents in the 20th century, serving one term from 1929-1933 and overseeing the Great Depression and economic collapse, according to the History website.
The most notable player on this list is NFL GOAT Tom Brady, who played for the Michigan Wolverines from 1995 to 1999 before winning seven Super Bowl rings in 23 seasons in the NFL, according to the NCAA website.
President Gerald Ford wasn't a bad football player himself, leading the Wolverines to undefeated National Championship wins in 1932 and 1933. He was the 38th president of the United States, serving from 1974 to 1977 after Richard Nixon resigned.
The final destination on the list is the US Naval Academy, which according to ESPN, produced Jimmy Carter, the 39th president of the United States, and two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Roger Staubach, who won in 1972 and 1978 with the Dallas Cowboys.
Staubach was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and had his jersey retired by the Navy but Carter had a struggle as President, serving only one term after failing to deal with the energy and Iran hostage crisis during his tenure.
