2007/08 (Pepe Reina)

Reina became the first goalkeeper to win three successive Golden Glove awards in 2008 after keeping 18 clean sheets. In 219 Premier League appearances for Liverpool, Reina kept 108 clean sheets. The 2008 Golden Glove was his last Golden Glove award.

2008/09 (Edwin van der Sar)

Manchester United were the Premier League champions in 2009, largely down to their incredible defensive trio of Edwin van der Sar, Rio Ferdinand, and Nemanja Vidic. The United keeper kept 21 clean sheets, beating Liverpool's Pepe Reina by one.

2009/10 (Petr Cech)

Petr Cech won his second Golden Glove award five years after his first in 2010, keeping 17 clean sheets as Chelsea regained the Premier League title from Manchester United.

2010/11 (Joe Hart)

Manchester City were in the makings of building a Premier League title-winning team, and Joe Hart was ready to be their keeper for the 2010/11 season after an impressive loan spell at Birmingham City. He kept 18 clean sheets as Man City finished third in the league and won the FA Cup.

2011/12 (Joe Hart)

In the 2011/12 season, Hart was rewarded for his goalkeeping excellence, with Manchester City winning their first Premier League title on goal difference. Hart kept 17 clean sheets and conceded four less than Edwin van der Sar in the Man United net.

2012/13 (Joe Hart)

Hart won his third successive Golden Glove award in 2013 after keeping 18 clean sheets for Manchester City. Hart conceded the fewest goals (34), but City finished 11 points behind Manchester United.

2013/14 (Petr Cech/Wojciech Szczesny)

2015/16 (Petr Cech)

Petr Cech played for Arsenal in the 2015/16 season, and in any other season, Arsenal may have won the league with Cech between the sticks. However, they were pipped to the league by the famous Leicester City triumph. Cech kept 16 clean sheets.

2016/17 (Thibaut Courtois)

Thibaut Courtois had a season to remember for Chelsea in 2017, keeping 16 clean sheets and being a pivotal part of Chelsea's league-winning team. They reached 93 points and lost five games.

2017/18 (David de Gea)

Manchester United had a resurgence in the Premier League in 2018 under Jose Mourinho, finishing second behind Manchester City. David De Gea won the Golden Glove award with 18 clean sheets.

2018/19 (Alisson)

Alisson joined Liverpool in 2018 and was a critical signing with Virgil van Dijk, taking Liverpool to the next level in the Premier League. The pair completely changed the fortunes of the 'Reds,' who secured 97 points, and Alisson kept 21 clean sheets.

2019/20 (Ederson)

Fellow Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson has changed how goalkeepers play at Manchester City with his spectacular passing ability. His superior footwork has led people to forget how good he is as a shot-stopper, keeping 16 clean sheets.

2020/21 (Ederson)

Ederson retained the Golden Glove award in 2021, keeping three more clean sheets (19) and helping City win the league by 12 points. City conceded 32 goals in the campaign.

2021/22 (Alisson/Ederson)

Liverpool and Manchester City have been difficult to split up for the past five seasons, and the same can be said for their goalkeepers. In 2022, the pair had 20 clean sheets, but City's Ederson had the last laugh, with his team securing the title by one point over Liverpool.

2022/23 (David de Gea)

In his final season at Manchester United, David de Gea showed he was still a world-class goalkeeper, winning the Golden Glove award with 17 clean sheets. Do United fans wish they had De Gea over Andre Onana?

2023/24 (David Raya)

The last goalkeeper to win the Premier League Golden Glove award is Arsenal's David Raya. Last season, Arsenal created the best defence in the league with William Saliba and Gabriel at centre-back, and the Spanish goalkeeper benefitted. Raya kept 16 clean sheets, but their lack of a striker cost them the title against Man City, which they lost by two points.
