Japan

Ranking in first place is Japan, which holds an average life expectancy of 84.4 years! "One Japanese person in every 1,450 is now aged over 100," according to The Express.

Japanese centenarians believe their body is a temple that shouldn't be polluted, and they maintain very active lifestyles while balancing healthy nutrition. According to the BBC, Japanese people are among the most active individuals across all age groups.

Vietnam

Taking the next prime spot in Vietnam, which in recent years has seen a major spike in life expectancy. A huge factor is their average nutrition and active lifestyles. According to the same data provided by WHO, 64% of Vietnamese adults are reported to be fit.

South Korea

South Korea is the next country on the list, as it also boasts great living conditions. According to the WHO, the average life expectancy is around 83.5 years and around 63.3% of South Korean adults are considered to be fit.

 

Sri Lanka

The beautiful country of Sri Lanka, located in the Indian Ocean, takes the fourth place on the list. The average life expectancy is around 76.3 years and around 60% of its adults are considered fit.

China

Further down the list is China, a country with a massive population and considered a highly developed nation. Despite having over a billion people, the average life expectancy in China is around 78.2 years, according to the WHO.

Singapore

Next on the list is Singapore, taking 6th place. The island has great living conditions and is considered one of the safest countries in Asia. The average life expectancy of a Singaporean is around 83.4 years, and around 62% of the population is considered fit, reports WHO.

Maldives

The Maldives... Ah, a small paradise hidden in the middle of nowhere. Often regarded as a paradise on the verges of the world, the country boasts a great life expectancy reaching 80 years, and around 61% of the population is considered to be fit.

Mauritius

Another paradisiacal location can be found in the Indian Ocean, just east of Madagascar. The beautiful island of Mauritius is a popular destination for tourists. The average life expectancy in Mauritius is around 73.6 years, and about 40.4% of its population is considered unfit.

Thailand

The Southeast Asian country of Thailand is ranked 9th on the list, boasting some of the best living conditions in the region. The average life expectancy in Thailand is around 78.7 years, and about 57% of adults are considered fit, according to the WHO.

Cabo Verde

The final country on our list is the small African nation of Cabo Verde. This chain of islands, located west of Senegal, is a popular destination for tourists all year round.
