A new 'Dream Team' to win gold again

The United States is a clear candidate to win the Olympics in Paris 2024. The American team is gifted with some of the best talents in the world. When compared to other nations, only France, Spain, and Argentina come close, but no other nation can truly match the 'Dream Team' and its superstars.

The best squad since that 1992 dream team?

The 1992 'Dream Team' was one for the history books, featuring Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, David Robinson, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Clyde Drexler, Chris Mullin, and Christian Laettner. Nevertheless, this year's squad is looking mighty strong and arguably one of the best teams assembled since 1992.

Sweeping away with 40 and 50 point wins

Following the World Cup upset in Japan, the USA 'Dream Team' is stepping back onto the courts with clear intent: they want the gold at all costs. "I want victories. 40, 50 points," shared Kevin Durant in the 'Boardroom Cover Story' video.

It seems difficult for any other team to challenge them

In total, 12 NBA superstars will make up the United States team in the next Olympic Games in Paris, which will be held between July 26 and August 11.

Lebron James

LeBron James will lead this team. Like Michael Jordan, the veteran Lakers forward will arrive at this important event just shy of turning 40 years old, but still showcasing his class on the court.

Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors point guard will also arrive in Paris as a veteran at 36 years old. Widely regarded by experts as the best shooter in the history of the sport and a historical leader in three-pointers scored, he is an absolute leader on the court.

Kevin Durant

Adding to the veteran seniority, Kevin Durant will also join the 'Dream Team'. Durant will have the opportunity to showcase his exceptional outside and mid-range shooting skills, which have earned him recognition as one of the best in the world.

Bam Adebayo

The young power forward of the Miami Heat, at 26 years old, will have the opportunity to assert himself with the United States national team in his second Olympic event. He knows what it's like to win gold... The question is, can they do it again in Paris?

Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis, another important pillar of the team, will also fight for the Parisian gold in these Olympics.  At 31 years old, the Lakers power forward must demonstrate why he is one of the most clutch players on the team.

Joel Embiid

Cameroonian by birth, although with French and American nationality since 2022, Embiid is the great star of the Philadelphia 76ers and will seek his first Olympic gold medal in Paris. From his position as a center, he has become one of the most dominant players in the NBA and was chosen as the most valuable player in the 2022-2023 season.

Jrue Holiday

The Boston Celtics point guard and shooting guard - an Olympic medalist in Tokyo 2020 - will arrive in Paris to complete a perfect season by adding the gold medal to his NBA ring won this year with the Massachusetts franchise.

Jayson Tatum

Another who wants a round season with a ring and a gold medal is Boston Celtics forward, Jayson Tatum, considered one of the greatest talents in the NBA and one of the best players in the history of the Boston franchise.

Devin Booker

Devin Booker has become, from his shooting guard position, one of the great gunslingers of the NBA, and leader of the Phoenix Suns, where he collects 'buckets' non-stop. Booker also won gold at Tokyo 2020 and, now, at 27 years old, he arrives in Paris at the peak of his career to repeat that great success.

Anthony Edwards

The youngest player on this team, he was chosen in the first position of the 2020 Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he has not stopped growing as a player, becoming one of the best shooting guards in the NBA.

Tyrese Haliburton

The first player in NBA history to achieve a game of 33 points, 15 assists, 5 triples, and no losses. One of the fashionable point guards in the championship whose quality benefits the Indiana Pacers. He has established himself as one of its great stars despite his youth (24 years old).

Derrick White

Derrick White was called up to join the ranks following the last-minute loss of Kawhi Leonard. White arrives at the national team for the Games as the unexpected hero of the NBA season. Will the 'Dream Team' cash in another big title this summer?
