Arsenal priced out of Isak move

According to The Mirror, Arsenal have been quoted a figure of nearly £200 million (€235 million/$255 million) to sign Swedish striker Isak. Newcastle have put their foot down and essentially made Isak unsellable this window.

According to reports by Sky Germany, Burnley are demanding £17 million (€20 million/$22 million) from Bayern Munich if the German giants want to complete their swoop for manager Vincent Kompany.

Chelsea fire sale

For the second summer in a row, Chelsea could be forced to sell some of their established players as they look to comply with the Premier League’s financial rules, per the Evening Standard. This could include club captain Conor Gallagher and defender Trevor Chalobah.

City switch Brazilians

According to GiveMeSport, Manchester City are set to move on from any attempt to sign Lucas Paqueta following the charges brought against him by the FA. Instead, it is reported they will be looking to sign Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle for a reported £100 million (€117 million/$127 million).

Ronald Araujo could be on the move, as Manchester United are reportedly targeting the Uruguayan this summer as their number one target, per SPORT - Spain. United look set for a full rebuild and are rumoured to see Araujo as a key piece in their plans.

The Magpies’ double swoop

Per The Telegraph, Newcastle are looking to make a double swoop for Premier League stars Jarrod Bowen from West Ham and Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton. Reports elsewhere suggest Newcastle need to sell before they can buy, potentially making these deals tricky.

Callum Hudson-Odoi never settled at his boyhood club Chelsea, but could now be on his way to their bitter rivals, Tottenham, at least according to The Guardian. CHO impressed last season for Forest, and his pace and quick feet could be a welcome addition for Ange Postecoglou.

According to Charles Watts, Arsenal are interested in Benfica’s Joao Neves, who many are suggesting will be the next superstar out of Portugal. Watts suggests the Portuguese club are unwilling to sell Never for anything less than his £102 million (€120 million/$129 million) release clause, making this a tricky deal.
