2024 NFL Mock draft 4.0: Picks 17-32

17: Jacksonville Jaguars - Keon Coleman
18: Cincinnati Bengals - JC Latham
19: Los Angeles Rams - Troy Fautanu
20: Pittsburgh Steelers - Quinyon Mitchell
21: Miami Dolphins - Laiatu Latu
22: Philadelphia Eagles - Tyler Guyton
23: Houston Texans - Kool-Aid McKinstry
24: Dallas Cowboys - Kingsley Suamataia
25: Green Bay Packers - Cooper DeJean
26: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Brian Thomas Jr.
27: Arizona Cardinals - Byron Murphy II
28: Buffalo Bills - Darius Robinson
29: Detroit Lions - Jackson Powers-Johnson
30: Baltimore Ravens - Ladd McConkey
31: San Francisco 49ers - Graham Barton
32: Kansas City Chiefs - Nate Wiggins
17: Jacksonville Jaguars - Keon Coleman

The Jags could go in a variety of directions with this pick, offensive line and the secondary look like areas that need an upgrade, but in the modern NFL, you can never have enough receiving options, so we have them taking the big-bodied Coleman here.

18: Cincinnati Bengals - JC Latham

The Bengals need to keep Burrow healthy and in a clean pocket. Latham will immediately become a “daunting physical presence on the line,” per NFL Draft Buzz, as soon as he steps on the field.

19: Los Angeles Rams - Troy Fautanu

The Rams need to bolster their offensive line if they want to keep Matthew Stafford on the field all year, Fautanu can do exactly that, even if he slides into guard in the NFL.

20: Pittsburgh Steelers - Quinyon Mitchell

Per Curt Popejoy of Yahoo Sports, the Steelers’ number one need in the draft is cornerback and in this mock they have one of the best in the draft falling into their laps at pick 20.

21: Miami Dolphins - Laiatu Latu

The Dolphins need help rushing the passer with their two main options missing time with ACL injuries next season. Latu offers exactly that.

22: Philadelphia Eagles - Tyler Guyton

Zach Berman and Bo Wulf of PHLY have mentioned many times they believe the Eagles are looking to find a long-term replacement for Lane Johnson in this draft and Tyler Guyton fits that profile exactly. A huge, athletic tackle, Guyton needs some polish and there is no better offensive line finishing school than Philly.

23: Houston Texans - Kool-Aid McKinstry

The Texans have already built a solid core, allowing flexibility with this pick. They could go WR or OL but we like them taking a corner to pair with Derek Stingley Jr.

24: Dallas Cowboys - Kingsley Suamataia

We have tried to find different picks for the Cowboys here, but with the board falling as it has, Suamataia is the best available player at the Cowboys’ position of greatest need, right tackle.

25: Green Bay Packers - Cooper DeJean

Daniel Jeremiah puts it well, describing DeJean as, “feeling like a Packers player,” which is tough to argue with. Regardless, the Packers need some defensive help, and DeJean gives them that.

26: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Brian Thomas Jr.

The Bucs could lose Mike Evans in free agency leaving a gaping hole in their wide receiver corps. Thomas is a field stretcher but is more than comfortable running short and intermediate routes too.

27: Arizona Cardinals - Byron Murphy II

The Cardinals need to beef up their defensive front and there aren’t many better options than Muphy in the draft to do just that.

28: Buffalo Bills - Darius Robinson

The Bills may need to replace some pass-rushing productivity depending how free agency goes for them. Robinson is a big, solid defensive end who can drive tackles into the pocket when he gets his leverage right, he should pair nicely with Greg Rousseau.

29: Detroit Lions - Jackson Powers-Johnson

Lions great Frank Ragnow has retired leaving a hole in the middle of the Lions’ offensive line, which was such a huge strength last season. Taking Powers-Johnson allows them to fill that hole.

30: Baltimore Ravens - Ladd McConkey

This is the second time we’ve had McConkey going here, and we could be way off as he rarely appears in the first round of mocks. We think his game suits the NFL perfectly and if he can get on the same wavelength as Lamar Jackson, he could become an amazing second weapon in the Ravens’ passing game.

31: San Francisco 49ers - Graham Barton

Outside of Trent Williams, the Niners’ offensive line wasn’t especially good last year, Barton can play almost anywhere across the line giving San Francisco the chance to get him into camp and see where he can help the team the best.

32: Kansas City Chiefs - Nate Wiggins

If L'Jarius Sneed leaves, the Chiefs will need a replacement, in this mock, Nate Wiggins falls into their lap at pick 32.
