The NFL season is just six months away, so there is no better time to take a look at the top college prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. We are basing our draft order on Super Bowl betting odds.

1: Carolina Panthers - Jack Sawyer

Ohio State boasts one of the country's most talented defensive lines going into the 2024 college season, with at least three players who could all go in the first round. One of them is Jack Sawyer who could emerge as the premier pass rusher in the draft.

2: New England Patriots - Tetairoa McMillan

Per NBC Sports, McMillan has a 46.4% deep catch rate, the best in the nation last year. He’s also 6’5”, 205 lbs… If he puts up good numbers this coming season, he could emerge as WR1.

3: Washington Commanders - Will Campbell

Campbell is 6’6”, 325 lbs monster of a tackle, which is exactly what the Commanders could be looking for in next year’s draft. The Commanders have a QB, but he’s going to need some help.

4: Denver Broncos - Mykel Williams

Williams has every chance to emerge as the top-rated defensive lineman in the class, but for now, he’s second, falling into the Broncos’ lap at number four. Per ESPN, Williams has had 4.5 sacks in each of the past two seasons, if he gets close to double-digits next year, he will be in high demand come draft night.

5: Tennessee Titans - Will Johnson

Josh Edwards for CBS Sports describes Johnson as, “a really clean cornerback prospect,” which we think undersells his ability. He’s a 6’2” corner with better ball skills than most wideouts who has the potential to be the next great NFL cornerback prospect.

6: New York Giants - Carson Beck

Beck to the Giants has a huge groundswell behind it already, which makes sense given Big Blue’s lack of quarterback talent. Beck beat out some of the best QB prospects in the nation to win the UGA starting job, and now has his sights set on a Heisman trophy and a National Championship.

7: Arizona Cardinals - Travis Hunter

The Colorado two-way player must decide whether he’s a wide receiver or a DB before entering the draft. If he chooses DB, we think he’s a top 10 selection given his unique skills and athleticism.

8: Minnesota Vikings - Kelvin Banks Jr.

The Vikings' offensive line will need an injection of talent by next year’s draft, making Banks the obvious selection here. Jordan Reid for ESPN describes him as, “raw pass-protector, but he has all of the necessary tools to become a high-end starter.”

9: Las Vegas Raiders - Jalen Milroe

Milroe completed 65.8% of his passes for 2,834 yards and 23 TDs in 2023, per ESPN. He also added 531 yards and 12 TDs with his legs. He has a chance to be this season’s Jayden Daniels if he continues to improve.

10: New Orleans Saints - Shedeur Sanders

Sanders started 2023 looking like a top 10 prospect before falling off as his lack of protection got the better of him. The talent is there to become a legit NFL QB, but some teams might be turned off by his seemingly immature attitude.

11: Seattle Seahawks - Luther Burden III

Burden is seen by many as the number one wide receiver prospect in the class, with Pro Football Focus giving him a 99.9 deep route grade. The Seahawks will need to get out of their QB purgatory at some point, so they could be targeting a signal-caller here.

12: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Quinn Ewers

We don’t see Ewers as a first-round selection at this point, but with CBS Sports, ESPN, and NBC Sports all suggesting he will go early in 2025, maybe we’re missing something. Ewers has huge accuracy issues which rarely improve, but his size and starting experience will be too tempting for someone.

13: Indianapolis Colts - Harold Perkins Jr.

Perkins is an off-ball linebacker with 13 sacks over his past two seasons, could he project as a Micah Parsons-esque hybrid player?

14: Los Angeles Chargers - JT Tuimoloau

The Chargers will need to bolster their pass rush at some point as Khalil Mack and Joey Bosa enter the last stage of their careers. Tuimoloau has huge size at 6’4”, 270lbs but is limited athletically, per Bleacher Report. A productive season in 2024 and he will be selected in the first round.

15: Pittsburgh Steelers - James Pearce Jr.

Per Josh Edwards for CBS Sports, Pearce is a “twitchy pass rusher who still needs to add some tricks to his bag.” If he ends up in Pittsburgh he will have two great pass-rushers to learn behind.

16: Jacksonville Jaguars - Tyleik Williams

The Jags will need to add some toughness to the middle of their defense at some point, and Williams could be just the player to do it. We saw this year how prized Byron Murphy II became by draft night, and Williams has similar potential.
