One of the best German footballers

Miroslav Klose was one of the best German players of his generation. After retiring from professional football, Klose has now found a new job.

Top goalscorer

The now 45-year-old played for the German national team from 2001 to 2014 and, with 71 goals, is still Die Mannschaft's top goalscorer.

World Cup record scorer

Klose also kicked himself into the World Cup record books with a goal at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil: with 16 goals, he is one goal ahead of Ronaldo Nazário. As the icing on the cake, the Germans crowned themselves World Champions.

After the end of his professional career, Klose worked mainly as a coach. In 2018, he became manager of FC Bayern's U17s, and in 2020 he was appointed assistant manager of the first team.

SCR Altach manager

From July 2022 to March 2023, Klose managed SCR Altach, which plays in the Austrian Football Bundesliga.
