Boxer Genadij Krajevskij dies suddenly at age 37
Per a post on X (formerly Twitter) by VIPBoxing Promotions, Genadij Krajevskij, known as the 'Baltic Bomber', has passed away aged 37. There has been no reports on his cause of death.
VIPBoxing wrote, “It is with deep sorrow that we receive the news of Genadij Krajevskij's passing. We had the honour of featuring him in the VIP Shows on multiple occasions,” in their statement announcing Krajevskij’s death.
Per BoxRec, Krajevskij finished his career with a 1-75 record, with his sole win coming earlier this year against Ryan Broten.

Krajevskij’s sole professional win was in his 68th fight, having made his debut in 2018, per BoxRec.
In VIPBoxing’s post announcing Krajevskij’s death, they noted the victory over Broten was, “incredibly significant for him, as he conveyed the message “Never give up” to the camera.”
Genadij Krajevskij, who was born in Lithuania but was based out of Merseyside, most recently fought Levi Vaughan in August 2024. He lost to Levi Vaughan in four rounds.
Boxing referee Mark Lyson added his own tribute to Krajevskij, writing, “Terrible sad news, RIP Genadij Krajevskij a true warrior, and a lovely fella,” following the announcement of his death.
The British Boxing Board of Control's Midlands Area Council also posted a tribute on social media, writing, “we would like to pass on our condolences to the family and friends of Genadij Krakevskij at this time.”
Krajevskij fought a number of notable opponents during his career, including Bradley Rea, Macauley MacGowan and Gerome Warburton.
Perhaps his most famous bout was against Tyson Fury’s brother, Tommy, who knocked Krajevskij out in the third round, having knocked him down in the second, per BoxRec.
