Rodman

Dennis Rodman was one of the best NBA forwards in the late 80s and 90s, dominating the defensive end for the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls.

Shenanigans

Rodman is and was notoriously known for his off-the-court shenanigans, marrying himself and well-documented party lifestyle.

A winner

Despite his off-court demeanor and personality, Rodman was a winner, securing five NBA Championships in his career.

Doing what it took

But just like off-court, 'The Worm' did some outrageous things on the court as well, annoying superstars to the fullest and doing outright stupid stuff.

Rebounding

Rodman's tactics worked, winning the Defensive Player of the Year award twice and being named the NBA rebounding champion on seven occasions.

Wild moments

Here are Dennis Rodman's wildest moments on an NBA court!

Rodman kicks a cameraman

One of the most infamous moments in Dennis Rodman's NBA career happened in 1997 while playing for the Chicago Bulls, kicking a cameraman in the private parts under the basket after losing a rebound.

Suspension

However, it stung more for Rodman, who was banned from the NBA for 11 games without pay, losing over $1 million in the process.

Headbutting a referee

In a game against the New Jersey Nets in 1996, Rodman did the unthinkable. After receiving two technical fouls, Rodman was ejected and boiled his frustrations out on a referee, leading to him headbutting the official.

He wasn't done

Upon exiting the court, 'The Worm' flipped over a table full of Gatorade, resulting in a six-game ban and a $20,000 fine for the trouble.

Messing with Alonzo Mourning

Dennis Rodman was the king of mind games and one example stands out. Rodman shouted flirtatious stuff at Alonzo Mourning in an attempt to put him off his free throws.

'Sick'

Rodman continued to make comments on Mourning's backside and continued to touch it whenever he was guarding the Miami Heat Big man. In the heat of the battle, Mourning called Rodman 'sick' and 'crazy.'

Messing with Shaq

No one in their right mind would start an altercation with 7ft1 powerhouse Shaquille O'Neal, but in the late 90s, in a game between the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers, Rodman did just that.

Rodman and Pippen to the rescue

Rodman stole the ball for The Bulls and decided to take a tactical timeout. However, when Shaq's teammate tried to rip the ball from him, Rodman flipped, making the enforcer O'Neal turn on 'The Worm.' Luckily for Rodman, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen pulled him to the floor just in time.

'Mailman vs The Worm’

One of the most iconic sequences from the 1998 NBA Finals was the war between Rodman and Karl Malone, with Rodman repeatedly trying to trip and touch Malone as the Utah Jazz charged down the court.

Wrestling

The fascinating thing about this matchup was that the two Hall of Famers had already signed on to fight each other in a World Championship Wrestling bout. And you guessed it; Rodman won in the wrestling bout as he did in the 1998 NBA Finals.
