Despite a cruel loss in the last minute to England, Euro 2024 has shown just how amazing the Netherlands is at major tournaments, bringing noise, joy, and a sea of orange.

Dancing in the streets

Dutch fans take to the streets of Dortmund and dance together before their match against England, hoping to two-step their team to the final against Spain.

Getting fired up

FIRED UP! A Dutch fan hypes up the crowd in a Dutch fan park with orange flares and Dutch flags waving around in excitement. You could probably see the orange from the International Space Station!

Singing and dancing with the England fans

Netherlands fans join the English fans for a party outside a pub in Dortmund, playing their musical instruments to The Beatles song 'Hey Jude.' Not many fans would join in to sing an opposition team's song.

The orange wall

The famous orange wall! At every sporting event around the world, it's obvious when the Dutch team is still in the tournament, with nearly every fan radiating an orange beam off their chest.

History of the carrot

According to the Learn Dutch website, carrots were white or purple before they came to the Netherlands, and the Dutch did what they do best, turning everything orange, including the carrot. This fan knows what he is doing!

Simons puts them in the lead

GOAL! The Dutch fans jump around in jubilation as Xavi Simons put the Dutch in front against England with his strike into the top left corner.

Fans dejected

Two Netherlands fans soak up the disarray and sadness in an empty Signal Iduna Park after losing to England due to Ollie Watkins' 90th-minute strike.

Ruud Gullit

Earlier in the tournament, three Dutch fans took fancy dress to a whole new level, dressing up as 1988 Euros hero Ruud Gullit. They inspired the team to a semifinal place, just short of a trip to Berlin.

Carrying their heroes

HEROES! Dutch fans march proudly through the streets of Dortmund carrying the heads of their heroes of yesteryear. Marco Van Basten, Johan Cruyff, and Ruud Gullit's faces could be seen everywhere in Germany on the 10th of July.
