It runs in the family! Some of sport's most famous siblings

In some families, sporting talent and athletic ability runs so deep it's partially a birthright. In those lucky families, it's not uncommon to see two or three members make it to the top flight of their chosen sport.

While some take on individual pursuits, others end up facing off against each other. Ever got so angry you could tackle your sibling or push them in the chest? Some of the siblings on this list get paid to do that against each other!

Sports are the most exciting in the world, and when siblings are against each, a game or a match becomes a lot more interesting.

Here are some of the most famous siblings in sports from the past and present!

Jason and Travis Kelce became the most famous siblings in the world at the start of 2023, as the pair became the first brothers to face up against each other in Superbowl history.

The pair will eventually be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, with Travis winning two Superbowls and making four First-team All-Pros, and Jason winning one Superbowl and being selected for five First-team All-Pros.

Seth and Stephen Curry were born into a basketball family, with Father Dell Curry having a long and successful career in the NBA.

Steph is a four-time NBA champion, the all-time NBA three-point leading scorer, two-time MVP, and one-time Finals MVP. His brother Seth hasn't quite been as successful, but he's still played ten years in the NBA as an effective role player.

Perhaps the most famous siblings from a young age have been the Ball brothers Lonzo, LaMelo, and LiAngelo, having their professional and personal lives documented on the TV show 'Ball in the Family.'

All three of the brothers play professional basketball. LaMelo is the cornerstone of the Charlotte Hornets franchise, whilst Lonzo is usually the Chicago Bulls starting point guard, but injuries have thrown his career off track. LiAngelo is currently playing in the G-League.

Eli and Peyton Manning are two of the greatest NFL quarterbacks of all time, following in their father's footsteps, Archie Manning, who played quarterback for 13 seasons in the NFL.

The pair have two Superbowl victories, but Eli has one more Superbowl Finals MVP than his brother Peyton.

Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko are two of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, with the pair dominating the sport for over a decade.

Between 2006 and 2015, heavyweight boxing was known as the Klitschko era. At one point, the brothers held all the heavyweight belts but refused to fight each other.

Serena and Venus Williams are the Queens of Tennis, dominating the sport for over two decades under the guidance of famous coach and Father, Richard Wiliams.

The sisters have Olympic gold medals together in tennis doubles and have 30 Grand Slam titles between them (Serena – 23 and Venus – 7.)
