Luka Modric is a Real Madrid icon. In his incredible Madrid career, the Croatian maestro has now won his 26th major trophy with Los Blancos, according to SPORTbible.

Nine seasons

In a total of nine seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, the Croatian midfielder has secured: 6 Champions Leagues, 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 4 La Ligas, 5 Spanish Super Cups, and 2 Copas del Rey (domestic cup), according to the same source.

Final at Wembley

Modric alongside the Real Madrid squad won the 2024 UEFA Champions League final at Wembley (2-0), for the very first time in the club's history. It was an important moment for the Spanish club that secured another great European championship in one of the world's most renowned stadiums.

Good finish to the year

The Croatian midfielder closed the 2024 season with a bang and some very prolific stats for the 38-year-old player. According to Onefootball, Modric scored 2 goals and provided 6 important assists in his 44 games this season.

Just by luck?

"It's impossible to beat so many teams, so many Champions, to reach so many semi-finals, just by luck," shared the Croatian international during a post-match conference in 2022.

Memory lane

In the span of nine seasons with Real Madrid, the Croatian international secured 6 incredible Champions League titles, with great contributions on the pitch. Among his most iconic contributions was the 2022 corner pass to Sergio Ramos in the 93rd minute, which kicked off the 'remontada' against Atletico de Madrid in Lisbon. (comeback).

According to Fabrizio Romano, "Luka Modric stays at Real Madrid as he will sign a new deal next week -  here we go, confirmed. The final meeting with Florentino Perez will be exactly as expected. Put pen to paper, take pictures, then announce it. Modric didn't care about money, he rejected two big proposals."

Debut day at the Bernabeu

The Croatian midfielder made his debut on August 29, 2012, only two days after his presentation, and the rest is history... A brilliant career at the Bernabeu, registering 481 appearances and 37 goals scored, according to Transfermarkt.
