Mock Draft 14.0 picks 1-16: The Final Mock!
Draft day has finally arrived. Soon all the speculation, rumors, and debates will be put to bed…for at least a couple of hours. Anyway, this is our final mock draft where we will try to predict who goes where with as much accuracy as possible, which is probably not a lot!
Williams is the pick, let’s keep this short and sweet.
Eric Edholm recently had J.J. McCarthy going at this spot, which seems crazy. Maye needs some fine-tuning but can make plays that few can even attempt. We wouldn’t be shocked if Daniels goes here, but Maye is the better prospect.

The Pats need to find a long-term solution at QB, so the rumors of them looking to trade back seem strange. Daniels is an imperfect player, but as Ryan Wilson for CBS Sports writes, “He has a big arm, throws with touch to all three levels and has the athleticism to rip off 50-yard runs,” a rare skill set.
The Cardinals could trade back, and the Vikings have a nice, ready-made package to send them, but sometimes you need to stick rather than twist. Harrison could potentially be a Justin Jefferson-level player, which could be game-changing.
The Chargers also field trade calls with the Vikings, but they need offensive line help. Alt is naturally a left tackle, but with Rashawn Slater in place, they can slide him to the right side with a full training camp and preseason ahead of him.
Per Charley Walters of Pioneer Press, the Vikings are exploring every avenue to trade up for McCarthy. The Giants could also be in the market for a QB, but McCarthy is a big risk this high in the draft.
If Nabers is on the board, the Titans should take him. They could explore a trade back but with the QBs gone, they stick at seven and select “arguably the most explosive playmaking receiver” in the draft, per Eric Edholm for NFL Network.
Ryan Wilson for CBS Sports has the Falcons taking Byron Murphy II here, which we think is a reach when Turner is still on the board.
The Colts send the Bears the number 15 and number 47 picks to the Bears to move up and grab Odunze, who could blossom into a star wideout.

The Jets need to focus on the 2024 and 2025 seasons, they have an, at best, very narrow window. Drafting a tackle or guard would be logical, but Bowers will give them something they don’t have.
The Giants trade back again, this time with the Raiders, who jump ahead of the Broncos to select Penix. Eric Edholm suggests it would be a risk to sit at 13 if Penix is their guy, so trading up makes sense.
If finding a quarterback is proving difficult, the Broncos can simply load up defensively, pairing Arnold with Pat Surtain to make a formidable duo on the outside of their defense.
The Giants move down twice, picking up an extra first and fourth-round pick in the process. Now, with the 13th overall pick, they select Fuaga who “is one of the finest pass protectors in the draft,” per Lance Zierlein.
The Saints need offensive line help, especially on the left-hand side, where “Trevor Penning has not developed as quickly as hoped,” per Saintswire. Fautanu has experience at LT and looks set to be a solid player there in the NFL.
The Bears get their QB at one, pick up a second-rounder from the Colts, and now select Verse at 15. If this is how Chicago’s first round goes, Bears fans should be very happy.
The offensive linemen could go in a different order, but we like the destinations for each of them. The Seahawks aren’t going to be competing for a Super Bowl in 2024, so building a solid offensive line should be a priority.
