Mock Draft 3.0: Post Super Bowl Edition, picks 17-32

17: Jacksonville Jaguars - Jackson Powers-Johnson
18: Cincinnati Bengals - Amarius Mims
19: Los Angeles Rams - Byron Murphy II
20: Pittsburgh Steelers - JC Latham
21: Miami Dolphins - Laiatu Latu
22: Philadelphia Eagles - Nate Wiggins
23: Houston Texans - Keon Coleman
24: Dallas Cowboys - Kingsley Suamataia
25: Green Bay Packers - Kool-Aid McKinstry
26: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Cooper DeJean
27: Arizona Cardinals - Chop Robinson
28: Buffalo Bills - Brian Thomas Jr.
29: Detroit Lions - Darius Robinson
30: Baltimore Ravens - Ladd McConkey
31: San Francisco 49ers - Tyler Guyton
32: Kansas City Chiefs - Ja'Tavion Sanders
17: Jacksonville Jaguars - Jackson Powers-Johnson

An elite name joins the Jaguars to bolster an offensive line that needs some help, especially at center. ESPN’s Field Yates describes Powers-Johnson as, “the best center in the draft,” you’ll hear no arguments against that from us.

18: Cincinnati Bengals - Amarius Mims

There are several options to choose from here with multiple offensive linemen falling further than many expect in this mock. JC Latham from Bama could be an option, but Mims’ size and potential are too great to pass up for the Bengals.

19: Los Angeles Rams - Byron Murphy II

The Rams need some help in the secondary, but with the top corners off the board, they decide to go for Aaron Donald’s eventual replacement in Murphy. Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network has Murphy as the top defensive tackle in the class and he looks like someone who could be a difference maker from day one.

20: Pittsburgh Steelers - JC Latham

We know Latham mostly played right tackle in college, which isn’t a position of need following the selection of Broderick Jones last year. However, Pro Football Focus had Latham as their 15th-best pass protector in the country last year, and we believe he could easily swing over to the left side of the line.

21: Miami Dolphins - Laiatu Latu

The Dolphins lost both of their top pass-rushers to ACL injuries late in the year, leaving a glaring hole in the roster. Latu can slot in and pressure opposing quarterbacks from day one.

22: Philadelphia Eagles - Nate Wiggins

If the board falls a certain way, the Eagles are almost guaranteed to draft an offensive tackle here, it’s just how they operate. In this mock, that option is off the table, but cornerback is also a need given James Bradberry’s poor play in 2023.

23: Houston Texans - Keon Coleman

Another team that could go OL here if they choose, instead, they are building on a strength by surrounding C.J. Stroud with as many weapons as possible. Coleman has the, “ability to take over games,” per Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports, which should complement the Texans' current options perfectly.

24: Dallas Cowboys - Kingsley Suamataia

The Cowboys need a right tackle, and will eventually need a replacement for Tyron Smith. Kingsley Suamataia offers potential solutions for both.

25: Green Bay Packers - Kool-Aid McKinstry

Just pipping Jackson Powers-Johnson for the number one overall name, McKinstry projects as an immediate starter in the NFL. PFF graded his college career as 88.8 which is in the upper echelon of cornerbacks in college football.

26: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Cooper DeJean

“Versatility and rare athleticism”, are attributes DeJean boasts, according to Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports, traits we’re sure Todd Bowles will covet come draft night.

27: Arizona Cardinals - Chop Robinson

Jonathan Gannon nearly broke the sack record while he was the DC in Philadelphia, all he needed to do that was about 8 elite pass rushers. Now in Arizona, his EDGE options aren’t quite at the same level. Enter Chop Robinson.

28: Buffalo Bills - Brian Thomas Jr.

The Bills and Stefon Diggs could be heading for a tumultuous break up at some point, so why not get ahead of the issue by taking Thomas who had the most receiving TDs of anyone in college football last year with 17, as reported by ESPN.

29: Detroit Lions - Darius Robinson

Robinson was a stud at Missouri and looks set to be a riser in this year’s draft process with Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports saying, “Robinson could actually go higher than this,” which is not something we were seeing even a couple of weeks ago. Still, he is the perfect fit for the Lions.

30: Baltimore Ravens - Ladd McConkey

A respectable third place in the fight for the best name in the draft, McConkey is a versatile and talented wide receiver who is being pigeon-holed as a ‘white, slot guy’. At Georgia he was often used as the Bulldogs’ main deep threat showing he is anything but a one-trick pony. If he ends up in Baltimore he will also reunite with college OC Todd Monken.

31: San Francisco 49ers - Tyler Guyton

Guyton was one of the standout players at the Senior Bowl and projects to be a dominant right tackle in the NFL even if it takes some time to iron out the creases.

32: Kansas City Chiefs - Ja'Tavion Sanders

The Chiefs have the luxury of going in pretty much any direction they want here, but adding a talented tight end option to learn under Travis Kelce for a year or two makes a ton of sense to us.
