Only 4 drivers have won more F1 races than 26yo Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen has completed his assault at the top of Formula One, securing his third world championship at the Qatar Grand Prix.
Verstappen equaled Senna's 41 race victories earlier in the season and has gone on to win a further eight, taking his total to 49 wins.
As well as his record equally victory with Senna, Verstappen also led Red Bull to their 100th race victory in the team's history.
After Sunday's victory, Verstappen has won the championship with 433 points, with teammate Sergio Perez the closest with 224 points in second.
The two Red Bull drivers have been the only drivers to score over 200 points so far this season, separating themselves from the rest of the pack.
After securing the world championship already, Max Verstappen has his eyes set on two drivers that he can beat and match for race wins before the end of the season.
The Formula One season still has five races left, with the United States hosting the first Vegas Grand Prix before the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
After beating Senna in fifth place, let's look at the drivers to have more race victories than Max Verstappen!
Next up on the hitlist for Max Verstappen is the most successful French driver in Formula One history, Alain Prost, who won 51 races between 1980 and 1993.
Prost was dominant in the late 80s and early 90s, picking up four Formula One Drivers' Championships. After his career, he ran his own team in F1 called 'Prost Grand Prix' between 1997 and 2001.
Recently retired Sebastian Vettel is third in total race victories in Formula One history and can be thanked for a number of those 100 Red Bull victories.
In his illustrious career, Vettel won four World Championships between 2010 and 2013, driving for the likes of Red Bull and Ferrari in his 15-year career.
German great Michael Schumacher won a staggering 91 Formula One races in his career, putting him second on the all-time wins list.
Schumacher has won a record-equalling seven world championships with Lewis Hamilton, winning five consecutively between 2000 and 2004 as he destroyed the sport with Ferrari.
The most successful driver in Formula One history is Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, the man who has challenged Max Verstappen the most in recent years.
Hamilton has the most wins and the record-equalling seven championships, but he isn't finished yet, with the British driver still determined to set himself apart with eight titles.
