Max Verstappen has completed his assault at the top of Formula One, securing his third world championship at the Qatar Grand Prix.

Equalling Senna

Verstappen equaled Senna's 41 race victories earlier in the season and has gone on to win a further eight, taking his total to 49 wins.

100 for Red Bull

As well as his record equally victory with Senna, Verstappen also led Red Bull to their 100th race victory in the team's history.

Domination

After Sunday's victory, Verstappen has won the championship with 433 points, with teammate Sergio Perez the closest with 224 points in second.

Separation from the field

The two Red Bull drivers have been the only drivers to score over 200 points so far this season, separating themselves from the rest of the pack.

Prost was dominant in the late 80s and early 90s, picking up four Formula One Drivers' Championships. After his career, he ran his own team in F1 called 'Prost Grand Prix' between 1997 and 2001.

Sebastian Vettel (54 wins)

Recently retired Sebastian Vettel is third in total race victories in Formula One history and can be thanked for a number of those 100 Red Bull victories.

Driving for the best

In his illustrious career, Vettel won four World Championships between 2010 and 2013, driving for the likes of Red Bull and Ferrari in his 15-year career.

Michael Schumacher (91 wins)

German great Michael Schumacher won a staggering 91 Formula One races in his career, putting him second on the all-time wins list.

Schumacher has won a record-equalling seven world championships with Lewis Hamilton, winning five consecutively between 2000 and 2004 as he destroyed the sport with Ferrari.
