The British tabloid has put Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk at ten. Since his move from Southampton in 2018, the Dutchman has become one of the Reds' best defenders, helping them to the Premier League title in the 2019/20 season and the Champions League the year before.
Ninth place goes to Frenchman Eric Cantona, probably one of the most interesting and controversial personalities in British football. The only Manchester City player on this list, Kevin De Bruyne is one of the greatest midfielders the game has ever produced. With his exquisite touch, near-perfect passing and incredible long-range shooting, the Belgian was instrumental in City's rise to the top of the Premier League and Europe.
