These are the 10 highest-paid players in the 2023/24 Premier League

The Premier League is home to some of the best, but also some of the most expensive players in the world. These are the highest earners in the league in the 2023/24 season, according to figures by Spotrac.

In tenth place, we find Arsenal's Kai Havertz with an annual salary of £14,560,000 (€17,050,202.36; $18,372,172.00).

The German began his Premier League adventure with Chelsea, but left the Blues in 2023 to join Arsenal for an estimated €75.00 million, as recorded by Transfermarkt. At the Emirates, he is the highest-paid player in the 2023/24 season, according to Spotrac.

Next up is Havertz's former team-mate Enzo Fernandez, who earns £15,470,000 a year.

The Argentine signed a lucrative contract at Stamford Bridge after the 2022 World Cup, but has yet to get Chelsea back on track to winning trophies.

The first Manchester United player on this list, Marcus Rashford earns £15,600,000 a year.

Despite his salary, the winger is not enjoying the best season of his career and has sparked controversy after a 12-hour tequila bender, as reported by The Sun, came to light.

Jack Grealish takes seventh place with an annual salary of £15,600,000, equal to Rashford.

The Birmingham native has proved his worth since signing from Aston Villa in August 2021, but this season he is battling for a starting place with Belgian Jérémy Doku.

In sixth place, we find Raheem Sterling, who currently plays for Chelsea and earns just under £17 million a year.

Sterling is a regular under Mauricio Pochettino and is one of the few bright spots in an inconsistent Blues side. Can he turn things around for the embattled Chelsea?

Raphael Varane is the second Manchester United player on this list, with an annual income of £17,680,000.

Varane enjoyed a successful career at Real Madrid, where he became a legend. However, his time at Old Trafford has been more difficult, as the Frenchman alternates between the starting line-up and the bench.

Varane earns slightly less than Casemiro, who collects £18,200,000 annually.

At 31, the Brazilian has nothing left to prove after a trophy-laden spell at Real Madrid, during which he won five Champions Leagues, amongst others, according to Transfermarkt.

According to Spotrac, Casemiro earns the same as Mohamed Salah, the only Liverpool player on this list.

However, the Egyptian has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, where he can reportedly earn much more than he does at Anfield. Will Liverpool bid farewell to Salah in 2024?

Norwegian phenomenon Erling Haaland takes the second spot with an annual salary of £19,500,000.

The striker is looking to continue scoring in 2024 as he did in 2023, and hopes to write history by becoming Norway's first-ever Ballon d'Or winner.

We arrive at the number one spot, where we find Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne, who earns £20,800,000 a year.

The Belgian has been with City for years, and last year he filled a huge gap in their trophy cabinet by winning the Champions League. Many consider him to be the best midfielder in the world, which is reflected in his earnings.
