We're Hiring: A look at the top candidates to take Jürgen Klopp's place at Liverpool
Last Friday (January 26), legendary Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp announced that he was leaving his post at Anfield at the end of the season.
Klopp has been Liverpool's greatest manager in the 21st century, guiding them to their first Premier League title, a UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cup, as reported by Sky Sports.
It is without question that the next manager to replace Klopp has a monumental challenge in keeping up with the German's success over the last ten years.

Here are the main candidates who could potentially take the Liverpool job next season!
The first manager on the list who could be in line to take the Liverpool job is their former midfielder Xabi Alonso, the Spaniard who scored in the 2005 Champions League final.
Alonso has proven he can take the reigns at Liverpool due to his current spell with Bayer Leverkusen, which sees the German side sit top of the Bundesliga table, having won 15 and not yet losing a game. The football rumour mill is currently working overtime on Alonso with many, such as the Liverpool Echo speculating he has already got the job.
The next manager, who could be a worthy candidate for the job, is current Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi after he led the 'Seagulls' to European football for the first time last season.
According to Team Talk the Brighton manager is tactically versatile, switching between 4-3-1-2 and 4-3-3, the formation Liverpool currently uses. Aged 44, De Zerbi still has a long way in his managerial journey, and Liverpool could be the next stop.
Could Liverpool recruit within for their next boss? Pep Lijnders has been by Klopp's side since 2018 as Liverpool's assistant manager and would bring familiarity and an identical way of playing to how they set up now.
The Liverpool assistant manager has stepped up in place of Klopp on the odd occasion in press conferences for domestic cup competitions. His most recent spell as a manager came in 2018, taking charge of the Dutch side NEC.
At only 36 years old, Julian Nagelsmann is one of the hottest properties in management, having already had successful spells in Germany with Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig, and Bayern Munich.

The current German National Team manager has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League for years, and it could be the right move for a German to replace a German.
It would be a fitting replacement to have Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as their next manager to replace Jürgen Klopp, having made 709 appearances for the club, according to LFChistory.net.
The former Liverpool captain enjoyed a highly successful spell at Scottish giants Rangers, winning the club's 55th league title. Since then, Gerrard has had underwhelming spells with Aston Villa and Al-Ettifaq.
Current PSG manager and former Barcelona and Spain boss Luis Enrique is one of the most highly touted coaches in the world after building a legacy with the Catalan club, winning the Champions League, La Liga, and Copa Del Rey.
Enrique is tried and tested at the top level of management and would be a safe bet for Liverpool in bringing success to the club. However, Enrique only joined PSG in July last year, so it would be a struggle to sway him away from the French champions.
