Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney is the footballer who made hair transplants famous, deciding to have the transplant in 2011 after a period of going bald. He famously shared a tweet saying: "Just to confirm to all my followers, I have had a hair transplant."

According to the Hair Palace website, Rooney continued to repeat the procedure during his career and reportedly paid £30,000 ($38,522, €35,526) for each of the procedures.
Global icon David Beckham has sported many different hairstyles and fashion choices during his legendary football career. In 2011, Beckham underwent a hair transplant after years of thinning and receding hair.
