Mo Salah's potential transfer destinations when he leaves Liverpool
Mo Salah is in his final year at Liverpool. The Egyptian revealed the news after the comfortable 3-0 win at Old Trafford.
The Egyptian, who has provided 213 goals and 90 assists since joining the club in 2017, will see his contract expire in July 2025 after signing a three-year deal in 2022 worth £350,000 (€415,567, $460,069) a week.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game at Old Trafford, Salah said: "I had a good summer and had a long time to myself to try to stay positive. As you know, it's my last year at the club.

"I just want to enjoy it, and I don't want to think about it. I feel like I'm free to play football, and then we'll see what happens next year. Coming into the game, I said it could be the last time [I play here with Liverpool]."
Liverpool manager Arne Slot was asked about Salah's comments and said: "It's a lot of ifs. At this moment, he's one of ours, and I'm really, really happy with him being one of ours."
With Salah's bombshell revelation that he will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, which teams could he suit up for in 2025?
Saudi Pro League team Al Ittihad is the only team to put in a formal bid for the Liverpool star in recent times, having a £150 million (€178m, $197m) bid rejected by Liverpool in September 2023, the BBC reports.
The Saudi teams have been known to splash the cash on stars playing in Europe, and Al Ittihad could be the only team to match his current wages at Liverpool. Salah is the most popular Muslim player in the world, which could also be a draw for the Liverpool man.

With question marks over Leroy Sane's future, Bayern Munich could be a potential team for Mo Salah to join next summer, meaning he would link up with Harry Kane to form a formidable front line in Munich.
Bayern failed to win a trophy last season, and the acquisition of Salah would guarantee goals and assists and a player who turns up in the biggest games. He would also be the perfect mentor for new signing Michael Olise.
With the departure of Kylian Mbappé, PSG needs a player to fill the major void, and Mo Salah would be the perfect man to step up and become the talisman in the French capital.
There were rumours that Salah had met with the PSG club president, Nasser El Khelaifi, last summer, but his agent downplayed the rumours. For PSG, Salah is the perfect forward to excel on the pitch and possesses a strong commercial appeal.
