NFL Power Rankings after the Division Round: Final Four
After a thrilling weekend of NFL football, we are down to the final four teams, all just one game away from making it to the Super Bowl. Throughout the NFL season, we have ranked every team that played that week. No change this week as we rank the eight teams that competed in the divisional round.
The Texans were competitive against the Chiefs, but ultimately couldn’t make enough big plays to win the game. C.J. Stroud impressed us and makes us wonder how this game looks if Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell were healthy. Unfortunately, Houston just wasn’t a match for this experienced Chiefs team.
The Texans need to find more consistency along their offensive line, especially on the interior, where they were exposed by a good Chiefs defensive line. Given they are set to lose Stefon Diggs in free agency too, another receiver should be a priority.

While the Rams put up a great fight and were yards away from a game-winning touchdown, over the course of the game, they were outmatched by the Eagles. Losing Braden Fiske early to injury was unfortunate. This team is young, talented, and extremely well coached, so there should be huge optimism here.
At some point, the Rams need to consider life after Cooper Kupp, given his age and waning productivity. While the defense is young and full of talent, adding some veteran talent at linebacker or in the secondary would go a long way to taking them to the next level.
The Lions have a huge offseason ahead given they may lose one, or both of their coordinators to head coaching jobs. Ben Johnson’s offensive genius is undeniable, even if he made some questionable calls on Saturday night. As well as he has played, it could also be time to think about a future without Jared Goff.
As we mentioned, the first priority will be to finalize any coaching changes if Ben Johnson and/or Aaron Glenn move on. Dan Campbell is one of the best figureheads in the league, and we trust he and GM Brad Holmes will find suitable replacements.
A tough loss for Baltimore shouldn’t take away from how well they played in tough conditions in Buffalo. Lamar Jackson made some slight mistakes, but more than made up for it. Unfortunately, it has started to become a pattern for Baltimore that they can’t get over the playoff hump. Not that it’s easy in a conference with the Bills and Chiefs.
As Kristopher Knox writes for Bleacher Report, “Expect the Ravens to lock up a few players during the early offseason, target one potentially impactful addition and then sprinkle in a little depth.” They don’t currently have much cap space to target a big name free agent but given the talent on the roster, one more x-factor could be the difference between winning or losing the big games.
The Commanders are having one of the best seasons we have seen, given the context of where they were this time last year. From 4-13 in 2023 to the NFC Championship game in 12 months is almost unheard of. Dan Quinn deserves huge credit, as does Jayden Daniels, who is making a mockery of the NFL in his rookie season.

The Commanders head to Philadelphia to play the Eagles in the NFC Championship game in what looks to be an exciting matchup. The teams split their regular season matchups with Daniels leading an impressive comeback in the second game. They will have to play near-perfect football to beat the Eagles, but with Daniels, anything is possible.
When you have Josh Allen, you have a chance. While he didn’t put up any incredible numbers against the Ravens, his efficiency in the red zone with his legs is a game changer for this Bills offense. The Ravens had opportunities to win, but that’s what you expect when two of the best teams in football play each other.
The Bills head to Kansas City as 1.5 point underdogs, per Oddschecker, which suggests the bookies think they have a real chance to win. Kansas City hasn’t looked impressive this season despite winning nearly every game. The one game they lost with their starters playing was against Buffalo.
It doesn’t always look pretty, but over the course of a game, the chances are the Eagles are going to beat you down and find a way to win. Whether it’s with their huge offensive line opening holes for Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts making a big play when he needs too, or one of the defensive stars getting a stop, there are so many ways this team can hurt you.
The Eagles host the NFC Championship game for the second time in three seasons and head into the matchup as -4.5 favorites, per Oddschecker. The big worry for Eagles fans is the health of Jalen Hurts, who was seen hobbling off the field after having his knee twisted during a sack. If he’s healthy, we expect an Eagles win.
We have mentioned a few times how unspectacular the Chiefs have looked all season, yet here they are, hosting the AFC Championship game once again. Andy Reid has turned KC into a winning machine that plays smart, efficient football and doesn’t care how they win, so long as they do.
We’re confident the Chiefs can get the job done, but they have struggled to contain Josh Allen in the past. We expect this game to be close, but with more scoring than we have seen from Patrick Mahomes and his offense through most of the season. The Chiefs often rise to the occasion, which is what we expect to see on Sunday.
