Renee Gracie: from motor racing to adult content and back

Renee Gracie is a name many won’t be familiar with, but her story is fascinating, involving motor racing and racy photoshoots. Let’s take a look at her career and what she’s up to now!

Per a post by the school, Gracie attended John Paul College in the city of Logan, Queensland. She grew up racing motor carts.

Following a successful karting run, Gracie was promoted to race in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship, per a bio on the Supercars website.

Per Supercars, Gracie’s time in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship went well, with the website reporting she, “yielded five top 10 race results and a 100 per cent race finishing record matched only by five-time series champion Craig Baird,” in her second season.

Her performances impressed enough that she was moved into the Super 2 championship, becoming the first woman to race in the competition for 14 years at the time.

Gracie then paired with another female racer in Simona de Silvestro to race in the Bathurst 1000, becoming the first all-woman pairing at the race since Melinda Price and Kerryn Brewer finished 11th in 1998, per The Sydney Morning Herald.

Despite suffering serious damages to their car following a crash, Gracie and de Silvestro finished 21st.

Despite consistently solid finishes, Gracie struggled to find a car for the 2017 season, leading to an early retirement. Per Perth Now, Gracie claimed she was “pushed out” from racing at the time.

With Gracie’s chances of finding a seat proving slim, the former racer chose to take a bold new step by moving into the world of adult content creation in 2019.

Per Perth Now, Gracie’s decision turned out to be a great one, with the Aussie reportedly pulling in over $330,000 (£260,000/€310,000) a month from her subscribers.

Gracie recently told the Herald Sun, “I do have that label with OnlyFans but I'm not ashamed of it at all and I want people to think of me and think "that's the girl killing it on OF".”

Following years away from the sport, Gracie made a remarkable comeback to supercar racing in 2023. Adorned in livery featuring the name of an adult subscription website, Gracie raced in the GT World Challenge Australia, winning the GT Trophy following first place finishes in all seven races, per News Australia.

2024 saw Australian TV station Stan release a documentary about Gracie title, “Revealed – Renee Gracie: Fireproof”. The documentary, “uncovers the exploitation, empowerment and resilience behind Renee's unconventional success story,” per Channel Nine.

Gracie told Channel Nine the documentary, “documents my journey through Go-Karts into V8, my transition into [adult content], and the cameras were there to capture my entire return to motorsport – the result is a salacious (pretty standard for me) and thrilling behind the scenes ride into my life”.

In the documentary about her life, Gracie claims her dad fully supports her work as an adult content creator, with her father telling the Stan documentary, “I'm pretty easy…. she's a porn star. That's how I describe her. Then people are so shocked, they're too scared to ask any more questions.”

Gracie’s brand continues to grow and flourish, with the motor racing star also set to release a podcast about her career and experiences. Called In the Back Seat, Gracie is hoping the podcast will, “show a different side to me,” and that she, “wants to do cool things on television and overseas is definitely on the cards.,” per the Herald Sun.
